Need Help

Hello First time on this thing. I have a 30 gallon tank with bio filters and all that good stuff. I added the water from my garden hose and added some water conditioner. i have let the tank run for about 48 hours and it has a strange smell almost like cat urine. if anyone knnows anything that would help it would be great thanks.

I'm no expert but I would say add some charcoal to your filter and it will get rid of the smell and any other nasty chemical in the water.

are there fish in there?

I have had one goldfish in there for about 24 hours and one of my little brothers put a bala shark in a few hours ago

they're going to die unless you start doing some research on tank cycling and get a test kit to see what your levels are.
