Need info and idea's

I am thinking about starting a 55gal tank and i want to use two emperor 400 filters and keep cost down as much as possible.
Maybe a couple of tangs, wasrse,shrimps and craps
Other then a protein skimmer what else do i need?

probably a bigger tank, with the general rule of 1" of fish per gallon with freshwater fish, the marine equation is a little different. almost like 10 times. so you should re-evaluate exactly what you want cause marine fish will quickley outgrow your tank.

and if you cant afford a good wet/dry filter than at least get a marineland tidepool over the pair of emperors
