This weekend I'll be picking up a 90 gallon tank to raise an Oscar. Obviously it's going to be a while before I actually have fish in the tank, but I'm thinking ahead at this time.

Besides the Oscar, I'm pretty sure I want to get a Pictus Cat. I'm also looking at perhaps a pleco or another fish that enjoys algae. I know that the Oscar will get along with the Pictus Cat and Pleco no problem.

My question is this - Do you have any suggestions for a something other than a plecko that will feed on algae?

pleco is probably the only thing that can survive with an oscar when it comes to algae eaters...but there may be others that i am unaware of.

not sure if a pictus is a good choice but i dont know anything about them...I know Oscars co exist with striped raphael catfish with no problems. But raphael cats are nocturnal and armored much like a pleco.
