Hey guys, I'm looking for some fish that won't get bigger then 4 inches when fully grown. This is for my mother in-law so I'm trying to compile a selection for her to pick from.

The tank has 1 coy and three goldfish now, I'm putting those in my mom's pond I'm building this summer (her tank for now).

A pic of the fish you suggest would be great, thanks.

I'm all about the tiger barbs!

They look great, and there re very fun to watch as they are often uite curious and chacing each other. There hardy and easy to keep, and will stay under 3 inches, just.

The only real problems you will have is that you can not keep them with solw, longfinned fish, as they will nip them yo death!

Get a schoal of 6 or more.

I think live bearers would be a good way to go. They will keep reproducing so your community count will never get low, and you won't have to worry about restocking. Although you may wind up with dead fish *laughingc
She wouldn't have to worry about saving all the fry, just let nature take its course. Enough should survive to keep the tank booming.
