Ok on my 2G tank I have a Compact Fluorescent Dual Reef 50/50 Lamp - 14,000K Actinic & 7,400K Daylight but I noticed today that my Zoos are reaching for light. I was thinking of just getting another bulb for the fixture that I already have. Possible??? If not I geuss that Im going to need to get a better light. Problem is $$.

hmm that is lots of light on a 2.5g nano.....I had some mushrooms and polyps growing in my 10g under a no flourescent before I got my 20g......didn't have any problems at all. Are you sure they are reaching for the light and not just spreading their wings?

It a mixture of the Black Argonite (?) and live sand. My husband didnt want it to be bright white. I just took this sand from my 65G cause I didnt see a point in using less than a 1/3 of a bag. And my 65G is doin so well now :D so I thought it would help this tank along.
