Ive had these little wonders for 5 days now and love them more each day. Still having trouble sexing them, but they are not fully mature so no worries there. They are in a 20L tank with Ph 7.0, and soft-med water. I will eventualy raise the Ph and hardness, I'm just allowing them time enough to adjust before I start. These guys are healthy as little horses, and eat like pigs! For the first day they were very skitish as was expected, but after a few days of feeding bbs, these guys are out and about all the time. Feeding the bbs really seems to have helped them ease into there new home better and more comfortably.

Thanks! I picked them up at the LFS, after months of asking and going thru the order form. ;)

I had no idea she had ordered them for me. We decided to go last tuesday just to see if she had anything in, and low and behold, there they were, waiting for me!

Thanks Lotus! Still pondering getting some neothauma(sp) shells to replace the current ones, not sure if the trouble would be worth it. They seem to like what they have so why mess up a good thing.

The only reasoning for the neothauma shells would be to be able to observe them moveing them where they wanted them to be. But not that it seems to be much of a problem, as I have already had a few shells rearanged.

Over the weekend I got some black sand and just layered it ontop of the current sand. The black has really helped the stipes show up more. And with the combination black background the fish and shells really stand out. I love the look of it. I'll have to get another pic of the tank when I get some time.

I cant belive how teritorial these little guys are. I was moving some shells close to one of the dominate ones main shell and I got attacked! LOL, I didnt realise that they could open there mouths so big. It was more of a surprise than anything. I jerked my hand, and my wife thought I had electrocuted myself.

Sure did C-man. I had been talking with the owner for a while and she has recently changed suppliers. She had ordered them for me week before last and I didnt stop by that week so I had no idea. :D It was a good thing I had the money for them. At $12.99 each they werent cheap. But Im happy with them(and more importantly my Wife is happy with them).

Thanks everyone.
