After reading an article from PETA about the cruelty of keeping fish in tanks, I thought I'd enlighten you fishlovers about something I saw in a pet shop recently.
There were these lovely neon glass fish....all different colours. A bargain at 5 for £5. Our tank was not ready for fish at the time so we just looked and promised ourselves we'd go back for those fish at a later date.
When we went back 4 days later the shop only had 3 left in the tank and one was dieing(how DO you spell that?).
So I stood my ground....I wont buy fish out of a tank with ill looking fish. So we left and said we'd go back when got more.
Anyway, we decided to do some finding out first...and searched the net for info on these lovely fish.
We found them....and also found out the cruel way in which they get their colour!
They are injected with a coloured dye.....and most die prretty soon after anyway.
So needless to say I wont be buying any of those poor fish.
