now yes this is probbably the most common fish in the aquatic world right there with angel fish and guppies, my question is whats the ph range on these guys, aalso what about cardinals? i have a 55g planted that im running co2 in, ph is easy to keep constant, right now at 6.4 want to get to 6 but not sure if its too low.... also, is it normal to fight? i have 10 so far and the seem to swimm in school for a few min, then booooom 10 fish fight for about 30 seconds and then back to schooling... wth!?! this is the only breeds of fish im looking to keep. possibly algae eater, but dont need it yet.

Neons will fight to establish a pecking order between themselves. Normal part of tetra culture:).

They will be fine at that pH. Just try to keep it consistent and they will adapt.
