I picked up a 20 gallon yesterday that was so dirty i couldnt even see through the glass! I took it home cleaned it up scraped the glass with a razerblade and used some degreaser on it. It looks alot better but I was wondering if I should change the HOB filter media because i dont know how long it sat outside and the condition of the glass looked as if nobody evercleaned it. I filled it up with water and got the filter going but last night it was real milky but getting better. This morning the tank seems to be pretty clear but looking at my 2 other tanks as a control it seems to be still a little milky. All The fish I put in there are suitable for crappy water and they seem to be doing fine. AM I MISSING SOMETHING I SHOULD BE DOING?
