If you have the $$$ Ehem is great.

But if you don't you can get a Emperor 400 for half the price you find them at in pet stores....www.petwarehouse.com you can get them for around $45.00.

Oh, heh your right Eheim is not that much more expensive...I guess I was thinking of Fluvel....don't know how that happened!

fluvals are just as cheap online. You'd be amazed to know how much LFS's mark their stuff up.

I never really looked at Fluvel Prices online...Man, at the place I used to work they priced their filters up so high that they would just collect dust b/c no one would buy them!!

well i found a very nice fluval for 50$ i could not pass the offer sorry for everybody that posted im not trying to waste your time if your thinking that i just found a good offer ya know,

I would suggest a HOB. Maybe 2 aquaclear 500's....

personally I like Penquin/Emporer HOB filters

I'm putting 2 Penquin 330's in my 75G. that way i get more filtration, more media baskets to use, and no fish death if one of them explodes or something.....

though i suppose the burning filter shrapnel might stress the fish a little =)

but a Penguin 330 or an emporer 400 would handle that tank pretty well
