I went to Petsmart (I know, not the best but better than Petco) today to get some more fish for my 29g and ended up with the angel and cories that I've been planning to get! They gave me a huge bag with the fish in it so I put (slowly) lots of my tank water in it. After letting the fish out the cories immediately start looking for food. A good sign!*thumbsups The angel was also swimming around and wasn't afraid of me! Usually when I get new fish and go to the front of the glass they hide but not him.
Now for my question. I just went down to the tank (it's in the basement) to give the fish there night time feeding of frozen bloodworms. All the fish including the cories ate except for the angel. I know most people wait at least 12 hours or over night before feeding but I for some reason decided not to. Could this be why he didn't eat? He has only been in there for less than 7 hours. Any help would be appreciated.
BTW When my angel swims in a dark part of the tank his colors get dark but when he is in the middle where it is light his colors get lighter. Is this normal?
