Well, I ordered my last additions online a few days ago and they arrived yesterday. Being that the website couldn't promise whether or not they'd be sending me all males, all females, or some of both I'm not sure what I've got. Here are my little beauties though. There are three. My Golden German Rams don't have names yet, but they will once I get to know them more and once I know whether or not they're male or female. Enjoy.

I think the males will get larger and will also have a larger first dorsal fin. The second kind of looks like the dorsal fin comes up higher in the front but its hard to tell from the angle.

Yeah, You can't tell I'm still learning about cichlids can you . The only other fish in there that is about the same size as these three is a Rasbore Het that my the cons and the curvs don't mind at all. Actually the curvs don't really mind anybody other than the other curv. I'd send these little guys back, but I would trust myself to be able to send them back and have them live. And as for my cons... well not only are they past the date of being able to take them back and get my money back for them, but well... lets just say there would be a lot of very tiny deaths if I did. Don't worry to much, I'll keep an eye on them and I won't repeat my mistake again, but before any of you who want to give my the lectures I know you're preparing to give just know I'm already giving them to myself. So please save those lectures.

Also if you're wanting me to tell any other new keepers of cichlids out there not to mix rams with cons and curvs, well... To those of you who are thinking about doing that, all though there may be that very slight chance that these types of fish will get along, don't risk it. It's really better not to mix them. I now know that cichlids should be housed with fish their own size and be able to stick up for themselves.
