New Betta

heres a couple pics of my new betta i got today from a LFS, i have never really liked crown tails too much in the past, because they always look like they just got beat up

but i have been looking for a Delta tail for the longest time and finally found one, but the fish store only had crowns so i figured what the hay, i never had a crown before, so i picked out the best looking one IMO, and luckly he was at the very bottom of the betta cup piramid so now i get to put my 2.5 gal hex on my desk to use, its been on my desk for a few weeks now, lol

Very nice fish. He ought to like the nice big tank (as opposed to the cups). What's he flaring at in the second picture... did you make him pose?

this fish must love the camera i swear, i can get him to flair up, and ill take the disk or reflective object away, and he will still flair, he will even swim around a bit flairing at nothing, and every so often he will stop swimming and continue to flair, makes for snaping pictures very easy, its great

Awesome looking betta, i always thought crowntails looked great but i can never find them around here.

Nice find. Crowns are notorious for being a little more aggressive (ie: grumpy) for some reason.
