just got a new betta for my empty 15 gal. it has a filter but took out the carbon its just for water flow and thats it. hes alone in there cause 1 i dont kno any tankmates for bettas and i dont have bubbler and a heater on it. here are some pics of him.
I agree, a heater is the first thing you need to get. Or put him in a very warm room with no drafts. Make sure the filter cleans the water too and not just moving the water.
i like your betta. i bet he enjoys the openness of the 15 gallon after sitting in a cup. are you holding up a mirror to make him flare his gills like that? i do that to mine sometimes.
