ill try to get another picture today, the little guy is very cautious of me and any one that comes near the tank, and as soon as i get the camera ready he darts back to his little cave

I thought of your mantis the other day at the lfs. They had tons of EC's for $5, I thought some of the big ones would put up a nice battle.

omg,a mantis shrimp,this costshrimp are extremely expensive,how much u bought it,i saw 1 in my lfs,it is 120bucks.lol

mine cost me 50 bucks, mine is only 2.5 inches and will only grow to 3.5 at the most, the species i have comes from tide pools in the pacific ocean near india, so the biggest things they usualy hunt are tiny rock crabs, about 2 inches at the most.
