Hey guys, instead of planted for my 75 gallon im thinking ill make it a cichlid tank. Right now its cycling. Any one have good ideas for cichlids to stock it with? I'm hoping to have more than three or four fish in the end so please keep that in mind.

Go with Mbuna's they are the most colorful but you must be careful because they are the most Aggressive some examples are:
Kenyi-most aggressive, Trewaves, Mpanga Red, and many others!

I'm not doing the planted because of the cost of lights and a proper co2 set up. I'm looking for larger fish, not as large as an oscar, but larger than the tetras and swordtails i have now. Im also hoping to keep a few of the same kind, and a varity of others to mix it up if at all possible

Check them out, but don't buy them! You'll need to research mbuna species and figure out a compatable stock list before you run out and buy there. There are a lot of extremely aggressive mbuna species, and unfortunately, those are the ones the stores sell almost exclusively. Also, stores run rampant with hybrids that most people don't realise until they've bought the fish and put pics up to have it id'd. Point is, going to a store without any information in your arsenal never goes as well as it should! ;)
