new cichlid

heres a pic of my new cichlid, the guy at the LFS said it was a venusa ? .. anyone know what this really is or how big it will get ?

looks like a young Nimbochromis venustus, from Lake Malawi, Africa. Hope you have a big tank (120g+) as these puppies can get to be 11" or so. The males are beautiful when they mature, the face will turn a metallic blue with a yellow blaze extending from the mouth through the dorsal.

I had one that came with my 55g and I got rid of it pretty quick, they deserve a nice big tank =)

i just got a new cichlid.its a cichlid that can go with tiger barbs gouramis,ottos,danios,plecos.the weird thing is that it can't go with other cichlids

its a crown ruby cichlid ,its as big as 2 adult tiger barbs,its really cute

im lookin at getttin a coupla new cichlids, i was wondering if keyhole cichlids would be good in a tank with two angels, and a male blue gourami??
ne ideas??
