New Clowns - Cool Markings

Well we went to the LFS and guess what I found? Clowns!!!

I know that's not very amazing, the LFS always has clowns, but not like these, they have a side saddle stripe and a spot rather than a stripe, pretty interesting if you ask me, so I bought both the ones with these markings

Yea, it's the only time I have ever seen these markings, and I look at loaches in every store that has them. There was also a double side saddle marking on one at the store, I wanted to get him too, but I don't want to crowd my other loaches.

Those are cool, Eco. I have never run across any with markings like the ones you just got, but I did run across this the other day.

Very nice clowns there Eco. And we all know you can't resist a pretty clown.

Yea, I've seen the spot before and the saddle markings, but never seen both on one fish.

Ooo, that's neat ^_^. Lucky find. I wanted to try and get a clown with unique stripes to add to my shoal, but there were never any when I was buying. I did run into some a few weeks ago that had broken stripes, and one was even missing an eye stripe on one side, but I resisted the urge to buy. It was hard, but for the best. Until I get a bigger tank, Chunk and his five buddies will be my only clowns for now ^.^.
