Seven new corals coming in the morning *BOUNCINGS Palmers Blue Millepora, ORA Tricolor Valida, ORA Blue Voodoo Acro, Garf Bonsi, Dragon Ball Z Chalice, Tyree Miami Hurricane Chalice, Emerald Mummy Eye Chalice. I have seen all of these corals online except for the Voodoo Acro and the Dragon Ball Z Chalice. Will get some pics the first chance the Wife gets to take some pics. They are coming from another reefer, so I don't think they will be frags, but I am not paying a premium price either.

Well, I got the corals and am some what happy with them. The three Chalices are what I expected and am happy with them, the ORA Voodo Acro and the ORA Tri Colored Vilida, I am happy with those also. The Palmers Blue Millie, The Garf Bonsi, and the ORA Red Planet that I also got, lets just say, it wasn't what I was expecting and was a bit, well not a bit, I am disappointed. What I expected was a stick 1/2 to 3/4 inch in size, what I got was a frag plug with a piece of an encrusted coral frag on it, not a stick looking coral, they resemble a encrusting Montipora. The Garf Bonsi covers about 3/4 of the square tile, the Palmers Blue Millie about 1/2 inch by 3/4 inch, the ORA Red Planet, I am most disappointed with this, its about the size of two pencil erasers. So I have a question, is this what I should have been expecting, or should I keep my mouth shut about this, which is what I don't want to do, because I am most definitely not happy with some of these corals. Chalk it up to a lesson learned and never buy a coral sight unseen again. Also picked up 3 Acans and a 1 polyp Blasto from the LFS today.

I guess if the price was cheap for the tiny ones its OK. They sell SPS frags at 1/2" to 1"-ish for 10-20 bucks. I really prefer my corals on the small side anyway. I am more concerned about the health and color then the size. If you paid 1" price then by all means that is probably worth saying something about but, on the other hand was there some really good deals and also consider the shipping fees as well. When I get stuff like you did I try to put the whole package toward the price and gauge it that way versus picking good and bad I try to average it.

I sent him a PM telling him how disappointed in the corals I was. I could live with 1/2 inch corals and been happy with them. You have to understand what I got, there was nothing to measure on these corals. He has a parent colony, he didn't cut a piece off of his coral and glue it to a frag plug, what he did was to go to the base of the coral where it is encrusting his frag plug. He cut a piece of the encrusting frag plug part, scraped it off the plug and glued it to the new plug and then sold it to me as a ORA Red Planet and Garf Bonsai coral and the Palmers Blue Millie.

OH!!!!~!! I see!!!! I would not think a crust would count much either unless that's what was described and being paid for. I would give that away for free. Well, I give away 99% of my stuff anyway LOL. Anyway, when you are told they are frags that is what you expect, A piece of upward growth not a crust.
