Alright, here are some first fish shots from me with the D70. My filters need some maintenance as you can tell (tiny specs in the background), but Ill get to that another time :D But overall I think theyre turning out decent. Hopefully Ill get my macro lense soon, so I can take alot better pics. Let me know what you think...comments, suggestions...

very nice. that might be the coolest-looking african cichlid ive ever seen...im more of a SA/CA cichlid guy...but that thing is beautiful. looks like ive got a favorite african now...are they rare? i dont think ive ever seen any in LFSs or anywhere. i found out, by going to your website, that theyre from lake malawi...how big do they get?

by the way, you have a nice website ;)

Yeah, he is pretty cool. Ive only had him for a few months. He still has some coloring to go. He will get more blue in the body and a large yellow stripe on his forehead. This guy is about 8" right now...he has about 4" to go. he is kind of a rare find. You can find him at Armkes, but you wont find him at your lfs (unless they specialize in Africans).
