new fish not eating

Has anyone experienced a new fish that you may have introduced, in your tank not to eat..This has happedned to me once before..?I guess some take a little longer getting adjusted to there new atmosphere....Picked a nice pair of about 6" Jack D's this past Saturday nite & they havent grub yet...They have great markings and just dont want to loose them..Any suggestions...

Let the fish do it's thing man. If they are 6", they will be eating you out of a house and home soon enough!!!

Yea, just get concerned...Had a chiclid b4 who was eating...WEel needless to say, got to eat to live so guess what happended to him..

fish can go along time without food, give him time to get adjusted just besure not to overfeed and stress him out more, cichlids can go over a month without eating

What are you trying to feed them frist off?

Usually feed my Chiclids a variety, switching to something diff every day....Flake, brine shrimp, pellets, etc....
