[glow=blue,2,300]Hi all
I am just wandering what fish I could put in my aquarium. I have neons and 3 cories in my 25U.S gallon tank. I would like a peaceful, easy to look after, intresting fish. Any suggestions would be apprieciated.

Hmmm... get yourself a really good freshwater guide book. That's the best way to figure out what fish you want. Not only will they give you pictures of the fish, but a good book will give compatibility and water cemistry requirements so you know before you get to the LFS what can mix and match. Sometimes LFS employees aren't the most reliable, will bag your Blue Acara, and then you'll be wondering where the heck your neons went the next day (down to the Acara's gut ;D).

But deep-bodied (serpae, bleeding heart, black skirt etc) tetras are good to stick with since you've got tetra conditions already. Gold barbs, cherry barbs, and white clouds are also some small, peaceful schooling fish that will get along with what you have.

There is a whole lot you can do with that tank, and plenty of potential. A good refferance guide is the key  *thumbsupsmiley*

I see some people have no luck with ottos. I myself, don't think they are a problem.

Here are some things I think help in their survival IME
-make sure you have algae they will eat(most of us do, but most new tanks dont yet)They like the brown diatoms,soft green, and any browns on plants.
-look at the fish stores stock. do they look ok? Are there dead fish in there?
-a pleco may outcompete the ottos for food....
-acclimate them!!  If you just throw them in your tank then they could really get a shock. acclimating them helps them to
adjust to your water temp and Ph.
-Dont keep them with mean fish they are nice fish, who like some friends.
I find no problems with them. Only way to know is to give them a shot.
