New fishies! =D

I went to Big Al's today and couldn't resist....
I was going to get $4 worth of cleaner shrimp and ended up with that, 3 Clown Loach, and a really cute baby Gold Nugget Plec. How does that happen? They drew me in... must be dark fish magic.

Only concern I had while I was there was about the Loaches. I was talking to an employee and he was quite knowledgable about the little guys, but there was one thing I found odd. He scooped me out one Loach and didn't even ask if I wanted more (though I'd asked for 3...), and I just expected someone to know that they need to be in groups. I asked him to get me 2 more, but still... I dunno, it concerned me a bit. Not only could he have made a bigger sale mentioning it... but I've always found it kinda common knowledge. Almost like Cories have to be in at least a pair, neons need six, and Clown Loach need at the very least 3. Bleh, I'm probably over thinking it

Anyways, one of the CLs is talking to me, it wants out the bag

i think we should start a sticky thread about clown loaches. They seem to appear every day or every other day, i think it would be best if there was a sticky thread for discussion about them, and requirements.

Clown loaches definitely need to be in groups of three or more.

Isn't it odd how you go to your LFS planning to get just a few fish, some food, and filter cartridges. Then next thing you know you bring home 3 extra fish that you had to have. This happens to me everytime I go to my LFS. Good luck with your clown loaches.
