New Fluval 105!

It was on clearance at my LFS for only $55. I got it set up and everything and its running silently. Now I find this impeller shaft tool, but it doesn't say anywhere in the instruction where to put it. Help?

You sure its not just a tool to help with maintenance on the impeller? If it was meant to be in the filter it probably wouldnt be running at all.

You put it in a safe place and you use it sometimes when you clean the filter. It helps remove the impeller shaft.
