Hey guys i am new to the site here but have had a tank for around a year now. But i am having a strange problem with my current 40 gallon tank. We had a Bala shart that was acting very irratic, so we were advised to treat the tank with tetracycline. We did so, but now we are having this odd yellow foam that accumilates very rapily on the surface of the water. We have done a water change and re-treated the water with aquasafe.

We havn't really had alot of problems in the past, but this is very stressfull. Should we just keep taking it out, or is there something we need to do to get rid of it for good.

All your help will be greatly appreciated, i will have water sample data up in the morning some time.

thanks,
Zack

I changes to new carbon filters and did another 25% water change, and it seems like it is decreasing the amount of foam now. The water also looks much better. Hopefully it will completely dissapear now.
