new kid on the block need help

hello all, this is a great site you have here. I'v been reading it for few weeks now. i've learned a lot but, now would like to post, and the photo i want to attach is to big how do i get the bytes down so it will work? ***please help*** i'm about to put this key board in the trash.

First go into something like PSP (paint shop pro) and open up your image

Second go to a menu like "image"

Third go to resize image and re-do the spec that u want it to

Fourth re-post the image!
