nice cats steve,the multi's are nice fish,plus they are a great "i've got some of those"fish.it's always cool to own a fish with such a unique breeding method.have you ever tried grannys or dwarf petricolas?i love synos but i need to set up a tank befor i start my syno collection.

mike no i never had either. other then cory's my lfs dosnt carry a big verity of catfish. i was glad when i saw them.big $$$ thats why i only have 2( @25 each).
avalon the only cryptocoryne in the tank are
wendttii front left, front center
axelrodi low front right
hejnyi center infront of filter intake

only for x-mas. we do our house up for that holiday even the fish tank.this was the first year i took a digital pic of it.last years santa's are on 35mm.i have 2 clown loaches they are about 2".they have been killing snails for me 4 months now without any problems from my cichlids.

Love your multipunctatus. I was also thinking of getting one or two but still don't know if they are compatible with what I have (7 clown loaches, 12 tiger barbs, 2 Golden gourami, 2 black skirt tetra, and 1 8" common pleco in a 90 gallon).

Are multipunctatus only for cichlid tanks or can they be in other community tanks?

bevans they would get along fine with that fish lish.but your ph isnt going to be high enough 7.5 or higher for multi's.there about 10 or so synodontis that might be better off in your tank.as for community tanks remember they will eat anything that will fit in thier mouths.even fast fish have to sleep.steve
