New mystery fish

I recently went to lps and bought a tiny cat fish for my twenty gallon setup to grow then transfer to my 55. The gentleman told me it was a woodcatfish. It is about 3/8 of an inch long. Its is tan and dark brown splotches. I can find no pictures of it or information on it. I was going to take a pic but he is so small can't tell him from the gravel

never heard of a wood catfish...
it has the whiskers and all? is it a long slim body, or kinda short with a cory type body?

One of the reasons I dread 'common' names or 'trade' names for fish.

Maybe Trachyelyopterus insignis?

If its tan with brown patches it might be the Perugia's Woodcat Fish (Perugia's Woodcat Fish). It might also my a Synodontis breed??? Pics would help.
