So finally, after much delay....i have some new pics. Just some i shot the first few days they were in the tank. I guess its no more secret anymore as to which fish is mine in the POTM so here ya go. To lazy to put my copyright on them too so....©

This is my, what i believe to be a, Aulonocara stuartgranti Red Shoulder peacock. I have a Trio, though these are only shots of the male.

The only fish i have right at this moment are some african shell dwellers (Multies), those peacocks, and 2 damsels in SW.

I have a total of 4 pesonal tanks, but we have about 11 total in the house....all with cichlids. (Minus my sw nano). I took a short break a while back and have just begun to restock, so most of my tanks are quite empty.

I scored these peacocks at the LFS. But headed to a local club auction this weekend...stay tuned. ;)

Nice C'man :) Is that one of the females in the third pic?
Well, i have 1 female for sure. The other could be a young immature male...not sure yet. I think that certain fish is the young male.

Sold to me as "Regal Peacock" but i believe it to be a Aulonocara stuartgranti Red Shoulder peacock. Got them from my LFS. :)

Thanks for the nice comments everyone, more to come this weekend hopefully! :)

Thanks Aaron, the other male has yet to color up anymore...i assume because he doesn't want to draw attention from the dominant colored male.

In other news i changed the rocks around...what a PAIN! The large rocks you see in there weigh close to 20lbs each. I shifted most of them all the way to the left side in hopes of making a cliff type formation overlooking a nice sand bed on the right. I sorta kinda acomplished it but i'm not sure if i'm happy with it....but i'm not moving them anytime soon again so i guess i better be happy.

The whole point of reaquascaping was to give more swiming room over the sand and provide a place for them a good open area to spawn if they so choose. This new setup is more peacock/Hap friendly. While the old rocks were Mbuna friendly and something i'd like to recreate in my other 55gal soon.
