Must be new picture weekend. ;)

I took out of the flourite where the shells are and added sand so the brevis can dig around easier. I also added an Anubias barteri 'coffeefolia' in the front center this week. ( gotta be a great plant is it has coffee in the name, right?)

This is the 29 with Neo. brichardi. The java fern is growing great on the rock background, and on the rocks in the tank. Java moss is also starting to creep up the background in a few places.

20 Gallon long multi tank. Great little guys. To anyone debating if they should get shelldwellers, I have to say do it. You will not be dissapointed with them.

Well, this really does not belong, but what the hey. 10 Gallon planted tank. Its not much right now, as Im still not sure what direction I want to take with it. The cyrpts on the right were nice and full when I first put them in, but unfortuantly met with crypt rot. No worries, they are coming back slowly but surely.

This is all for now. I've got several pictures of fish that I will post hopefully later this afternoon.

Tanks all look good, must have some happy fish. But if i were to pick the one that looks most neglected it would have to be the 10 gallon *laughingc, this may not be the case but i know ive got at least one neglected tank also *thumbsups .

Beautiful Orion. I love all your tanks but I ecspecially like the 29 gallon. It has such a deep dark feel to it, looks very soothing. Is the 29 relatively dark in person or did it just appear that way because of the camera? Either way I love it along with the rest of your plants. BTW the Lotus (if that is what it is) looks tremendous in that tank.

depthc- lmao, you hit the nail on the head. It is rather neglected, despite the rather nice inhabitants I have. And neglected isnt keeping from regular maintance, but more from lack of good aquascape. Still looking for a plan for this one.

dss- Thanks. i dont know why, but I have never been able to get a good picture of this tank. Its not really that dark. and yeah, that is a red lotus. I try to keep the leaves off of the top to keep the more bush apperance.

Thanks to everone!

Getting ready to add some more pictures, fish next. ;)

Multi fry- These are from two different spawns. You can see one of the older ones in the foreground, and the younger ones in the back.

This is the alpha male, and I belive thats one of the sub-males behind it. You can see the females right around the male, including one peeking out of a shell.

This is a sub-adult male N. brichardi. I just realized it the other day, but he is right at a year old. :)

The julies are doing great C-Man. See for yourself

This is my female (in shell) and male N. brevis. Doing good, but no sure sign of more fry just yet.

Ok, um, I think thats all for now. ;) as if thats not enough.
I've recently put up my own fish gallery. Click here to check it out. Keep in mind, I'm dumb when it comes to PHP, so be nice. ;)

You have amazing looking tanks...
They look like a lot of time, planning, and thought went into their conception =D.

Your shell dwelling tank is really cool...I love your pics of the families =D. They definately make a strong case towards people interested in watching fish spawn. I'd love to try it someday!

Three thumbs UP! (oh...wait, I only have two here readilly available) Anyway, I checked out your website link and I am in AWE, I so much wish that I had a "green thumb" as far as the desire to grow live plants in my tanks, alas, it hasn't struck me yet. However, when I do want to have real plants instead of silk/plastic, your tanks are THE benchmark! Great setups and great photography!!!!

Wow. You all can sure pump up a fella's ego, I can tell you that! ;)

The best advice I can give is this: Do it for you. Your the one who has to look at your tanks more than anyone else. Even if you create a planted tank that rivals Ammano his self, if you don't like it, then its worthless.

But hey, if my tanks can be an inspiration to you, then all the better! (hehe, agian with the ego thing :D)

denimous-shellies are truely a great fish. You can keep them in small tanks, and most of the commonly found species will spawn easily for you with pretty much no intervention. If you can get them, I would say try them. You will not be disapointed at all.
