Got some new pics of my brichardi fry that were first seen on 8/21/04, so they are almost 2 months old, but not hardley. Also an updated pic of there tank. The plants are doing great. Algae has grown nice on the slate on the back as well as the large slate stack. I love the way it looks, this picture does not do it justice.
A nice picture of the male and female
The larger brichardi on the left is from the spawn in March of this year.
Alrighty. These are the little bad boys, my N. brevis. I cant get enough time in a day to watch them as much as I would like too. They are just so fun and interesting. Probably the best fish I have ever kept to date.
Here is the tank. I put some extra shells in with them last weekend, and got hours of great entertainment watching them 'shop' thru the new shells. The black sand is only a layer on top of the white sand. Eventualy I will add more black once they mix it up enough. The black really helps show there color better. If you look closely at the picture, you can see one on the right leaving the shell, and right in the middle in the back, you can see the dominate brevis sticking its head out of the shell.
