well my girlfriend currently has a 12 eclipse FOWLR set-up its been running for about 8 months. It currently only has a yellow tailed damsel in it, and a few margarita snails, we want to switch it over to a simple reef, the fish will be given to a friend and im getting a retrofit lighting kit ( SALE! - 36w Compact Fluorescent Retrofit: Aquarium Equipment and Supplies - Aqua Buys ). This will give us 3 wpg is this enough light for some colony or button polyps and maybe a mushroom to start? we also have roughly 350 gph through the filter and powerheads. Thanks for any input or advice. This is a learning tank for us till we have the money to set-up the 40 gallon breeder in our garage *twirlysmi

ive been reading online and on a few forums so ive got a decent idea of what will work i just get nervous when trying something for the first time, would really hate to kill something because i didnt know enough. I'm thinking of getting a yellow watchman goby for the tank too and either a clown fish or a firefish.
