I'd really like to get more angelfish, but I know if I get more, my 3 year old female will kill them

I plan to move my large angel to a new 20 gallon tall(my friend works at pet supermarket.. i can get an awesome hookup;) ), along with the gouramis and maybe some cories

How many angels can I put in my 46? I was thinking 4-5..

The 46 gallon tank could possibly house 4-5 angels, but you may and probably will run into problems with them when they pair off to mate. So to be safe i would get a pair and keep only 2 angels with other community fish. I plan to get a pair of angels for my 45g Tall, and thinking of it now i think more then 2 could be problematic. But its worth a try and if you ever ran into problems you could just move them into other tanks.

A 30g tank is good for angels. A lot of people have angels in them. Maybe it's only the 29g. That is what I have and it is tall enough for an angel. A 25g would work great. My friend has one and it is taller than my 29g.

I second what depthC said. You might end up with a pair and they will constantly fight with all the rest. If they are all the same sex then they will still fight. Total chaos. I recommend only 1 or a pair.
