New tank weight

So I have a question, my cousin is going to be moving some tanks around and he needs to find a home for his 55g tank and stand. My question is, a 55g tank would weight by rough estimates, 40-60lbs of substrate, and let's say 53-54g of water at 8lbs is going to weigh near 500lbs. Would that sort of weight be suitable/safe for housing in a two story house that was built in the mid 60's? I don't want a hole in the floor cause of the tank.

I have a 72 Gal tank with stand, 115lbs of sand and 70lbs of live rock and it didn't even creak on my second floor. The house was built in the 50's. And let me tell you, from looking at houses when I wanted to buy last year, the older ones are built much better.
