Newbie needs help!

Hello! I am new, and grateful, for this website. I am starting on my #2 salt
water aquarium, but now have an Aquapod, with poorly-written directions.

When putting the 2 bags of ceramic media into the back of the tank, do you remove the outer plastic? There is still a mesh bag that holds them. I just don't see how the plastic bag can let any water go through to reach the ceramic media. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, you should remove the plastic bag.

It would be better to use live rock rubble instead of the bio-media, though.

Remove the media from the plastic bag but keep the in the mesh bag.

PS I had the same problem.
