newt setup would it work

take a empty 10G brand new some sheets of glass cut prefeftly to the tanks width in side verticaly and some apoxy, in conclusion half water half land what would i put it in land side i was thinking grass or sand but what would be best for my firebelly newt i also have 1crayfish and snails in the tank but even if the snails went onland they are sayed that they can live there for up to a week so would this work?

i would say it sounds good...i would use gravel, seems like it would be easier to clean

i'd try to grow some moss on some rocks on the land...

natural look gravel in the water part...

putting any fish in the water section?

if you ran 5g of water you could probably drop a few real small fish in there. Maybe 3 neons or something? I guess it all depends how much water you've got...

Maybe even a betta would be cool for the water section... hardy, easy to keep, and doesnt need much water, but i'm sure he'd be happy in 3+ gallons!
