Nitrate tester

a quick question. I've heard of few of you talking about nitrate peaking and so on. How do u know? Do u have a nirate test as there is no nitrate tester avilable in my country and my LFS said all you can get is a nitrite test

I suppose you could order one from a website...I couldn't imagine why they would sell them here and not there, that seems wierd. Did you try more than one store?

If you're doing water changes regularly you probably aren't having problems with nitrates.

the best nitrate tester is a 25%water change.no need to test unless you don't change you water enough.if yur going planted then a nitrate tester would be more useful.as for finding one froggyfox said it best try and find online.i'm puzzled as to why you don't have any where your at either.

I agree catfishmike! - especially if you have plants and do regular water changes. My nitrates now are 0ppm's and have never climbed above 10ppm's.
