no heater

ive moved two balas into a 40L tub where they will stay for three days while the room that the tank was in is being redecorated. the water is being filtered, but im unable to put in a heating element

does anyone know how sensitive are balas to temp drops?

I think they're fairly sensitive. Make sure you keep the tub covered, as balas really like jumping.

I have no idea what temperatures will drop to where you are, so it's hard to say without knowing the possible lowest temperature.

just turn your house heat up to 74plus degrees and they'll be alirght!!! No tried and true answer for you from me, but I wouldn't think that if the temps were kept at about 68 degrees you'd be too bad, I wouldn't just throw them in the cold water, but let them acclimate, b/c it will be a traumatic time anyway. My two cents.
