LOL - Oscars are pussycats compared to a GT

It's not that an Oscar lacks the muscle to stand up to a GT - It's the GT's attitude that wins the argument, (and they don't take prisoners).

But - as 420 says - fish are also individuals, so there's no promises about anything.

ever notice how some of the fish in cichlid tanks are chasing others, and the rest are being chased? i think the fish that get chased might tend to be more tolerant of other fish because theyre so happy to be the only on of them in the tank.

the BP kinda looks like hes about ready to crap himself though.:D

oh yeah...i can see the head of the other GT now.

i think i know what happend.:D the person that took the pic put the BP in that tank at night, and it was stumbling around in pitch blackness, then...FLASH!! the person took the pic, and the two GTs DESTROYED the intruder.:D

nah, hehehe j/k. but TWO tame GTs, what are the odds...?

wel...maybe wot u dont see in the pic is that there are an army of about 50 BP'z waiting, while the bp in the pic is nagotiating with the GT'z about terriatory ;) ;) ;) :D

Nah...joking, :D im really confused about wots going on but we should get an answer soon...shouldnt we???

Whoa - "The BP can't be swallowed so the GT doesn't mess with it"....?

Cool - always wanted some in my community tank - might give it a go.......

55 gal - 2 oscars - 6 severums - 2 mbuna - 3 plecos - 1 shovelnose - 2 BP's - 4 blue acara- 1 electric blue hap - 1 moorii

How many do you think I can fit in ? (lol)

A lot of very nasty fish will go just fine if the tankmates look and act very differently. By the way animal lover, Oscar's are not agressive at all, I kept them with discus with no problem at all and they ware not "used to eachother" but were introduced as adults.
