Not Eating :(

Dont know if this is in the right place...but anyways, my new oscars have decided that they dont want to eat anymore. I got them on friday and both were fine and eating, saturday was all good and fun, and then sunday BOOM the albino starts pooing white poo, and not eating nearly as much, then monday same thing, tuesday the albino stops eating and then my tiger eats less too, and today both are not eating and both have the white poo. Whats going on?? *SICK* *SICK* *SICK*

From suggestions on other forums, they said add salt and raise temp, so i've done that

EDIT, just re-read the post. Did you try some other kind of food?

Tried bloodworms, mysis shrimps, cichlid flake/pellet everything

Sorry to hear that Katie. The thing with Oscars I think, is that they are SO popular that they're likely not overly healthy these days...you know, same way that comet goldfish are usually diseased; they're bred for quantity, not quality. I'd take the dead guy and the remaining fish both back, and maybe take some time to look around and wait for just the right, really healthy O's to try again with.

Yeah, sorry Katie.
Like SinisterKisses said, you'll find some healthy ones. Might take time, but it's worth the wait to find the 'right' ones.

The ones that I got were the healthiest in the tank, swimming around and acting all good...
Im going to the better LFS today anyways
