Hello,

I guess I shall try and help you out here.

If you wanted to know if your room light and sunlight "through a cutrain" will make your plants grow, that is a 100% no.

First off, sunlight is the all natural lighting, but when sunlight is shawn through glass it loses most of it's UV power. I know that you can grow plants in an aquarium with sunlight hitting it, but I think you will run into major problems with algae growing all over your tank glass and your plants.

Also if you have a curtain over your window your not going to get anything from the sun.

If you were looking for a yes, sorry to bum yea out :)
