Not quite sure?

For my 55gal, i would like to try to add one more pair of breeding cichlids if possible?I thought about gbr's but im worried that there would be to much aggression?Heres what i plan to do:I think i have a pair of bolivians already!So im going to take the lone ram back and im either going to add hillstream loaches or kuhli loaches and im going to take the oto out and put him in another tank.Then i would like to add some sort of easy breeding cichlid.This is were i need your help.Thanks!

Hm..... i would say Keyhole cichlids. There not aggressive unless breeding and are excellent parents. There not very colourful, but they are fun to watch!

Yea,keyholes would be a nice touch!I've never kept them before.So is that a no on putting gbr's in there?

Be aware though, searching for an easy breeding cichlid would complicate matters. If they breed easy they'll probably do it in your tank and then be aggressive as a pair defending territory and whatnot.

Personally i'd hold off on the other rams and add the loaches and just let the tank kinda grow in.

Okay sounds good.Do u have a prefrence on kuhli or hillstream?The substrate is sand if that has any difference.

I've always liked the Kuhlis but i never had hillstreams before.

i would vote for kuhlis, but have never kept any other type of loach either. their small, dont take up a lot of space, good bottom feeders, and if you have a small group of them they tend to be more active

Hmmm, im still not quite sure?I like the color of the kuhlis but i also like how the hillstream is almost like a miniture stingray.And they only get i think 3in.
