Mrmoog - I would be concerned about whether the pics of my tank that I have shared here somehow get linked to my FB profile. Not that I have any secrets to keep, but I use similar screen names for both sites.
Why don't you ask MFT posters to join your FB group under their own FB names, or submit their favourite snaps with a blackout on their IDs, if needed?
Plus, in terms of legal/privacy issues, you should probably check first with one of the moderators. I don't want to be a party-pooper, but if you don't, I'm going to ask one of them to look into this issue anyway, so do you mind being the one who does so first???

Not sure what you are getting at, I was asking if it was possible to add a link for a small social page, Purley for people to have a gab and if they like to leave pictures if they so desire, With regards to your photo's getting linked unless MFT Forums have a programme for linking this then there would be no issue, People who use there Forum name on facebook has no effect on your MFT i use the same screen name for everything i sign up for!!! With regards to legal and privicy i am not askin for personal details so you have really lost me their it is a social site and they would have had to have signed up to Facebooks terms and conditions, As for you checkin i really dont see the point if you are not interested this seems to be a case of a nosey neighbour, Seems to me that there is a lot of fuss over what was meant to be a small page for people to enjoy posting and chatting, At no point was i trying to take anything away from MFT if anything i would promote the MFT forum as i have been a member for a few years and the Mods and members have been very helpfull over the years, But if you feel that YOU need to look into this then by all means do so as it is your right, First time i have ever been upset when using this forum :MAD:
Wow, I certainly didn't mean to upset you. I guess I didn't understand what you were getting at. I thought you wanted to link other people's pics they posted here to a FB page. I have no problem with FB at all! I just thought you were asking if you could take people's comments/photos here and post them on FB without their express permission - that's what I would have an issue with. Total misunderstanding. By all means - start a MFT page for Facebook - cool idea.
