I have a tank being custom made for me if I want to. It will sit on the top of my entertainment unit. (don't worry I have taken prcautions to make sure the electrical stuff doesn't get soaked. The tank will be 48" w x 20" d x 6" H. Does this sound OK to everyone. Basically it wil be only for bottom feeders. Cories, loaches, cats and pl*cos.

in my oppinion that sounds great. i also thought of making a tank similar for my dragon eels but you know theres money involved on this so i have yet to try it. sounds awesome though. just make sure the stand can handle it. that would be my only worry.

Sounds ideal with that footprint. Only concern would be water circulation because a normal filter will not be able to keep it flowing enough I wouldnt think. However a couple of well placed powerheads would solve that rather quick.
