I just isolated a tetra of mine because I saw it's color was really really faded and it doesn't swim around and follow the others but rather stay in a corner.

Now, is NTD contagious? There is this other Tetra who is still a little light but very active and follows others around.

My 1st tetras and this is a result.

Yes, NTD is highly contagious.

What are your water parameters like? If it's pale, it's more likely stress. Any other symptoms? What else is in the tank? How long have you had the tetras?
