i think one of my neons has ntd!!!~ i dont want to kill him so what can i do????????

Remove him before he infects the rest of your tank. Puting him down is about the only option you have if it's NTD.

Neon Tetra Disease. It is a disease that is normally found in neons and the reason no neon tetra will ever have a presence in any of my tanks. There is no cure for it, and it can infect the entire tank, not just the neons and KILL everything.

Do a google on it and you will find all kinds of info.

Doesn't mean you can't get neons..
It's not only neons that get the disease.. it was something that was first spotted in a neon tetra or something.. i can't remember.. and besides, i know people that have had neons for years and they've never experianced it.. it's not all that common, really.

No it's not all that common, but common enough that I'm not going to ever risk it. But yeah neons work out great for a lot of people. This is just my personal choice.

Yes other fish besides neons can get it or bring it in to your tank, but it is by far more common in neons than any other species of fish.
