OH NO!! HELP

well everything's been fine..until...well i'm thinkin i have some parasites or somethin..haven't had any other probs....so i tried Copersafe medication. I don't know if it worked or not. Also I got a new Pleco...just a normal 2 dolla one. So in 2 days I've lost 3 fish!!! My Platy that I've had since I got the tank and has always thrived no matter what. and my 2 cory cats...now...I think that the cory cats tail seemed a little nibbled. Could my pleco have killed them. I don't know what it is. HELP ME!!! I'm Dyin here I feel sad!!!*SICK*

Are you saying the fish got sick after you added the pleco?
Or did you add the pleco while there were sick fish in your tank?
(I'm thinking the first thing, but who knows? Let us know!)

I'm guessing the pleco introduced something nasty to your tank. In all likelihood the damaged fins on the cories happened post-mortem, but who knows?

I think we need more specific info., because from what I've read, it sounds as though some fish started 'randomly' dying and you just tossed in a random medication in the hopes that it would help stave off more fish deaths.

What sort of symptoms did you notice, if any?
(i.e. other than the 'nibbled' fins on the dead cories)

Well the fish lady said to add the meds. The pleco probably introduced somethin yucky or somethin i guess...i found my other cory cat. he's lookin okay! I put the other cory in a breeding container. No other fish seem to be sick. His back fin looks nibbled. I think by another fish or parasites. Anyway. HE IS STILL ALIVE THIS MORNIN i can't believe this. I added some antibiotic to his container. last night he was barely breathing and now he is heavily breathing. We will see. I'm stumped on this one.
