Ok i had a 3 inch scratch on my front panel since some acropora skeleton felt from the top months ago. I checked today, the scratch is 6 inches long...mhhh...
is my crappy perfecto just too weak to handle the pressure ?? The "not very deep but visible" scratch is actually transforming into a crack ??

here's a pic :

This sucks...there's no other 55g like mine available except thin glass perfectos.

When i check my tank from the left panel, i can't see the scratch, but with mh and looking at the front panel, it's pretty obvious

Do you think pefecto would replace it if you said the crack just appered?

Id be a little worried about it, but thats just me being overly cautiouse. Maybe this can be an excuse to upgrade to a bigger tank?

you could do the glass splice it would look rough but you might be able to but corals in front of it bassicaly get a strong piece of glass a bit bigger than th crack clean both surfaces withacetone and stick the glass patch over with silicone
