Ok i'm being forced into this

i'm being forced into divideing my 5 gal tank,my betta flare who is in a 1 gal is starting to have a temp drop of 1 degree every day and he's not likeing as am i,i have a heater in my 5 gal and i bought a divider nether of my two fish like any heavy water flow so it has to be the 5 gal i'm going to divde 2.5 for both which i know they won't mind, both seem to prefer small tanks i do not want my flare to freeze if theirs a major drop in temp so i was thinking if i could put a wall of thick java moss and a very high divider that is secure they will be ok till summer time when it warms up?


putting flare in my ten gal is outa the question due to heavy water flow.

any advice and sugestions would be nice.

Buy one of the dividers from the pet shop that secures to the sides tightly. Put a few plants blocking the view for the bettas and they should be fine Just make sure they can't jump over it.

i did buy one from the pet store i'm gonna make a wall of java moss and put it so they can't see one another at all and high is definaty at the top of my list to make it safe.
