ok help me please

I am trading in chinese algea eater cause hes gotten to big and lazy not eating his algea so what kind of bottom feeder fish should I get that will be peaceful and get along with my shrimp or should I go ahead and get a plant. Any Ideas would be very helpful or should I go with getting the snail now.

Otto's aren't really bottom feeders. Get a siamese algae eater if you find one, they eat algae all their lives and will also scavange the bottom.

Snails and corys sounds nice but what size tank do you have. In your sig it looks like you have a 10gal but i wanna be sure this isnt for a difrent tank or anything like that!

just slowly upgrade your tank size:D thats what my cousin did in his apartment complex. he could only keep up to a 20, so he started with a 20, after a few months he turned it in for a 29, and the landlord didnt seem to notice(or care) after that he turned it in for a 40(which he later gave to me:D) and bought a 55. he kept the 55 until he moved.

the landlord used to come in and faze out on it, and never said a word about it, but, things are different all over and i know that theres good landlord, and downright sadistic ones!
